ADDISON ELEMENTARY - YOUNG PERFORMER'S PLAYGROUND

This is for all budding artists aged 6 to 11 wanting to elevate their skills, learn confidence and have fun!

• Theatre Games: Engage in warm-ups and improvisational exercises, fostering self-expression, spontaneity, intuition, and collaboration.

• Meisner Technique Foundations: Learn the Meisner Technique, living truthfully under imaginary circumstances, and accessing authentic emotions in a safe environment.

• Concentration and Relaxation: Exercises to release nerves and anxiety which are valuable for auditions, performances, and daily life.

*Please note that there may be a class assignment regarding some memorization, script analysis, or preparation for a small performance.

About Rae Lane:

Rae Lane studied the Meisner Technique under Jim Jarrett, Sandy Meisner's last teaching protege.  She is an actor actively working in Film, Theater and TV.


Before her Meisner Technique Training, Rae Lane graduated from St. Mary's College with a B.S. in Psychology, Performance and Theatre Studies.
