Sanford Meisner

Rae Lane is an actor based out of San Francisco Bay Area who regularly works in film, TV, and theater. Rae Lane is also a reporter and a regular host at a Bay Area TV station as well as performs as an energetic VJ.  She trains and works with aspiring actors and non-actors, children and adults.  Her young students lovingly call her "Ms. Rae Lane"
 

Rae Lane completed her acting training at the Meisner Technique Studio under Sanford Meisner’s last teaching protege, Jim Jarrett. 

Before her Meisner Technique Training, Rae Lane graduated from St. Mary's College of California with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Performance Arts from NYU Tisch and Filmmaking/Directing from New York Film Academy.  She continues to work with several of San Francisco Bay Area's film schools in helping and training filmmaking students on how to direct actors and how to approach the directing of a scene as well as serve as onset acting coach for various film productions.  
 
Rae Lane thrives working on set, being a devoted mother, dedicated teacher and coach; and loves helping fellow actors navigate the industry.  Her passion for acting shines through in her passion for people to find truth and true freedom to unlock their talent and themselves.
