ONLINE Young Actor's Playground - Monthly

When: Weekly on Mondays for 5-7 year old and Thursdays 4pm to 5pm for 8-17 years old

This is for all budding artists aged 5-7 years wanting to elevate their skills, learn/gain confidence and have fun!

Key Features:

1. Tailored for All Levels: Our class caters to actors at any level, creating an inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment.

2. Holistic Acting Exploration: Covering film, commercials, and live theatre, young actors will delve into various facets of the acting world.

3. Discover Your Unique Path: Our instructor can help each student identify personal goals, and provide support on areas that resonate most with their craft.

Highlights:

• Theatre Games: Engage in warm-ups and improvisational exercises, fostering self-expression, spontaneity, intuition, and collaboration.

• Meisner Technique Foundations: Learn the Meisner Technique, living truthfully under imaginary circumstances, and accessing authentic emotions in a safe environment.

• Concentration and Relaxation: Exercises to release nerves and anxiety which are valuable for auditions, performances, and daily life.

*Please note that there may be a class assignment regarding some memorization, script analysis, or preparation for a small performance.

This workshop teaches the basics of filmmaking and provides "hands-on" experience on collaboration and producing a film all REMOTELY!

This course was designed to adapt to the continuously changing environment we find ourselves in today and the rise of content creation.

*There may be some in-person meetings at the discretion and availability level of all participants

TEENS

This workshop teaches the basics of filmmaking and provides "hands-on" experience on collaboration and producing a film all REMOTELY!

Students will write and produce, and shoot their very own short films.

*There will be off-class work and access to a smartphone or basic video camera is required. There may be some in-person meetings for shooting at the discretion and availability of all participants.
